Duo Kulišić is a remarkable musical partnership between Bosiljka Kulišić, an accomplished accordionist, pedagogue, and composer, and Danilo Kulišić, an international pianist currently pursuing doctoral studies.

Bosiljka Kulišić was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing her primary and secondary music education in Bosnia and Serbia, she continued her classical music studies at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern, Switzerland, under the guidance of Teodor Anzellotti. She holds two Master’s degrees — a Master of Arts in Performance and a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy from the Hochschule in Lucerne, where she studied with Anne-Maria Hölscher. Her pedagogical Master's thesis, "Contemporary sound stories – composing during classes with children," received the highest evaluation. As a soloist and chamber musician, Bosiljka performs a repertoire spanning five centuries, with a special focus on contemporary classical music and collaborations with living composers such as Tomi Räisänen, Mathias Spahlinger, Johannes-Maria Staud, and Wolfgang Rihm. She has gained extensive experience performing with orchestras, ensembles, and theater productions across Europe. Alongside performing, she is active as a music pedagogue at the Music School Herceg Novi and composes original works for accordion.

Danilo Kulišić was born in 1998 in Zvornik, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Showing great musical talent from a young age, he began his formal piano and accordion studies at seven and quickly became recognized for his originality and skill. Over the years, Danilo has won more than 40 first prizes at international competitions across the USA, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. Notably, he performed at Carnegie Hall as the winner of the American Protégé competition in New York City in 2014. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including from the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska and the Foundation for Young Talents of Serbia. Danilo completed his Master’s studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and at Florida International University in Miami. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies. His solo repertoire covers works from the Baroque period to contemporary music. As a chamber musician, Danilo is best known for his work in Duo Kulišić, performing original and transcribed compositions for accordion and piano, as well as collaborating with various ensembles involving strings, winds, and vocals.

Together, Duo Kulišić captivates audiences with their dynamic performances of contemporary, baroque, tango, and klezmer music, blending diverse musical worlds into a unique and vibrant artistic expression.
